When the people of Pellon City speak of the Rat King they're not talking about the many-rodent creature born of filth and desperation. Instead they speak of a human born of the same circumstance and headed for a worse end.
The Rat King of Pellon City quickly learned that the first to betray was the last to live and so he lived his life. Deep in the most wretched dens and dives he lied and shivved and stole and fled. There was no trust left unbroken, no good deed he didn't punish. Despite his despicable reputation he gathered a gang and led it to some flimsy heights.
His reputation was bound to catch up with him and so it did. The pitiful creature took to burning his hideout to the ground, every member of his crew inside, to escape his fate. Little good it did him and before he died himself, the Rat King of Pellon City was coronated with a molten golden crown so that none would forget the consequences of his tragic betrayals.
Please note, this die has the following flaws:
A slight texture to the 1, 7 and 9 faces from moss and bones.
A faint sprue mark on the d20 face
It is balanced and rolls randomly.
